Anita majored in English and minored in Psychology at Pomona College. While there, she spent a semester at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. At Northwestern University School of Law, Anita was a team member of the Juvenile Justice and Death Penalty Trials and Appeals Clinic. She also served as a faculty research fellow. Anita was on Northwestern University’s Journal of International Human Rights. Additionally, she has participated twice in the school’s International Team Project (ITP) program. Through the ITP program, Anita has had the opportunity to travel to Cambodia, Thailand, Argentina, and Brazil for intensive field study on selected legal topics.
